Palm Springs Golf Vacation System

Commit yourself to all your golf shot decisions. If you cannot see the golf shot in your mind's eye, you will rarely see it for real. Par is a professional scale of performance. Shooting par for weekend golfers is like running a 6 minute mile.

How to drop strokes fast and easy

The best golf teachers often give two basic lessons for good chipping: keep most of your weight on your left leg and get your hands ahead of the ball in order to strike down on it and get good, crisp contact. Learning the correct golf movement is 10 times easier than you think; doing things the right way takes a lot less effort than the wrong way.

Golf as a number of different games in one: you have to putt, you have to play delicate chips, and you have to hit powerful drives. But then you have to learn how to play the course and, hardest of all, master your own emotions. Keep consistent pressure on your golf grip. Look for a golf instructor who communicates well, is on your wavelength, and with whom you can be friends -- then stick with them.

Why am I even golfing at all?

If anyone asks: "why play golf?" your answer should be: "why not play golf?" Anyone can do it. Use a video camera and study your swing from time to time. Improvement tends to come in spurts. Be prepared for long, frustrating weeks when nothing seems to get better. Take golf lessons, practice, and learn.

Find out what golf technique you need to learn, how to learn it, and then develop methods that will help you achieve your goals. Learn from a qualified golf instructor. Devise a golf training plan.

It is utterly impossible for any golfer to play good golf without a swing that will repeat. Never hit a golf shot you haven't practiced. Focused concentration is essential in golf. To improve your golf, you must train, prepare, and practice as the winners do.

Golf Free?

Read golf books, watch golf videos, study the game -- it is not only learned on the course. Build your golf game from green to tee, not the other wayaround.
